The presence of Montreal Canadiens Assistant General Manager Pierre Gauthier at Wednesday's Flames' game has prompted speculation the Canadiens are looking at Calgary's Alex Tanguay and would be willing to move impending unrestricted free agent Michael Ryder to get it done.

Please for the love of Maurice get this done. It's sad how Tanguay's contract almost seems like a bargain now.

Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev
Tanguay-Koivu-Higgins
Kostitsyn-Smolinski/Chipchura-Latendresse
Dandenault-Lapierre-Kostopoulos

Love it baby. Tangs would be perfect.

I don't know about perfect. I'd take him, but its not like I'm salivating over the possibility.

He wouldn't help our lousy PK any, though maybe he'd draw a few more penalties and get our PP out there more.

Well, that'd be our off-season signing and trade deadline acquisition rolled into one. But I'm becoming convinced we should try and bring Huet back.
