Well, this will be interesting. Montreal usually raises their games when top players are in town (and oddly enough, Boston), and we just don't know what the Pens are like without Sid.

Ty Conklin Exclamation has been a rock for the Penguins recently. I kind of figured they were driving on fumes because of that... now let's see how it works with no Sid.

Malkin's taking Crosby's place in the All-Star Game, BTW.

Montreal could be suffering from the first game back after a road swing syndrome, but of course they haven't been that comfortable at home anyways. They better start... home stands now outnumber road swings for the remainder of the season.

Sabourin is getting a rare start tonight.

Armstrong goes into the boards in a similar fashion to Sid's fall last night, but after some time in the dressing room, is back.

Montreal fails to convert an early PP chance and then get mesmerized by the skills of Georges Laraque, who draws two defenders below the goal line and leaves sniper Jeff Taffe open in the slot for the opening goal.

Malkin is playing centre tonight on the Pens' top line.
