Just saw on the CNN website breaking news with no details.

Young and seemed on the verge of being very big. sad I guess.

Is he not the new Joker?

Sheeit...

Just took a look at the cnn.com report. It initially said that police said it was drug-related, but it's been updated and doesn't say that anymore.

Fuckin' A...a real shame since his portrayal of the Joker might've been the thing that finally made him a true bona fide star. He finished filming it so I guess The Dark Knight will be his final legacy...

Holy shit!

Sleeping pills, though... it almost sounds more like a suicide than an overdose.

Oh crap he had a young daughter it says. I mean when it's just some young guy it's kinda sad, but when they have children it's really sad.

That it does. Celebrity deaths usually happen in 3's, so Renfro is 1 and Ledger is 2. Hard to say who no. 3 might be.

You'd think suicide, but there are worse things in life than being picked to be the new Joker Confused

More likely he was up on the blow all night and had to get to some z's for the next day, and things went a tad wrong...

Well, it could be relationship related, as he and his baby's momma had split so who knows what that might've done to him...

That was a long time ago, relative to the celebrity relationship lifespan. Michelle Williams being the mom... great rack...

If you're going to read up on the death of someone famous, do it right:

http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/

The Sydney Daily Telegraph is stopping the presses for their own, the "Aussie screen legend."

Ike. Oscar. Whittman. Ledger (no legend, but still). Haven't watched Brokeback, but he had talent.

What a bad stretch...

The Anorexic Twins involved? One guess on who gave Ledger his stash.

No, you're not the only one. I don't care who in Whoreywood dies - they are non-people to me. Rolling Eyes

I can't even respond to that without getting nasty so I'm going to keep my mouth shut.

I'll just pray that no one that you love ever leaves you by their own hand because of mental illness.

Great point. You don't have to give two shits about some random guy who died, but to claim that he's any less of a person than you or someone you know personally just because he was famous is rather cruel and inhumane (not to mention textbook schadenfreude).
