Even though Sara Mclachlan hasnt come out with anything new lately this is her town still.
Is tonight a "must win"? maybe but its a "gotta win" at the least. |

You're going to have to enlighten me as to the semantic difference.
Where do "hafta wins" and "needa wins" fit in? _________________

it made more sense in my head.
But let me try to break it down nonetheless...
I would say losing a "must win" = panic button. Heads will roll.
WHilst losing the coveted "gotta win" = get angry and worried but no heads are going to roll yet |

Here's hoping the Canucks can suck it up & win one on home ice.
The Blues are 1-0-1 this season against the Canucks, but this is the first meeting in Vancouver. St. Louis has at least one point in nine of the last 10 meetings (6-1-3).
Looks a good bet for a shootout, except Legace & Luongo have both been getting lit up lately so maybe an over is in order?
Hopefully it will be as entertaining as the last few but with the right result. |

Ah, shit. The law of averages is rarely kind to the Canucks.
I wouldn't mind seeing Sanford get this one, and let Luongo have an early start on the All-Star break. _________________

True, but the Canucks are on a 4 game skid, so the law of average is basically the same. _________________

He's a comedian from rural Sask... he is the star and creator of the show "Corner Gas", a canadian sitcom set in a small Sask town. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. 1-0 stl on a very weak goal.
Legace grabs Naslunds' stick no call-- The Canucks are 0 for 2 on PP & 3rd PP is just about to start.Ohlund scores on the PP 1-1 |

I know I said that DN has to hold onto Naslund, but if he continues to contribute on the fringes, one has to consider that he could yield a decent return at the trade deadline... As this team is currently constituted, I think they'll have trouble even getting into the top 8 in the west, never mind going deep in the playoffs. _________________ ... Boyes scores on the PP... Jaffray, you suck.
Boyes would look terrific playing alongside the Sedins.
EDIT: Crap... He's an RFA this summer, and has a career high 27 goals so far this season... Cha-ching!
Oh, great. Apparently, Krajicek was injured 3 minutes into the game on a hit by 235 lb. Keith Tkachunk... _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.

Raymond & D. Sedin have both hit the post in this period--Can the Canucks ever catch a break?

Probably not. If they don't score, the 0-17-1 record will get into their heads and that'll be the end of that... _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.
