This morning I woke to the sound of 60-70mph winds buffeting my house. That was roughly 6am. We just got out power back at 8pm.
The house was 42 degrees F. We could see our breath.

Yeah - its been breezy here ... we don't have as much fun weather (i.e., snow) as Buffalo though!

The snow turned out to be the least of our worries. The upstairs bathroom was so cold that the pipes froze and burst under the floor. We used to have problems with the downstairs plumbing but never the upper.
The ceiling in our living room just collapsed.
My poor parents. This is unbelievable.
