I have no voice from non stop shouting/cheering and I feel like Razz's ass....worn out. I went to the Rams/Hawks game. I have no idea what the quality of the game was like (getting gooned is not a good idea if you want to observe an event).. it was just chaotic fun. Its only week 7 and it had a playoff atmosphere..when Ichiro came out waving his towel and pumping up the crowd .. the place exploded!! Everytime the Hawks got to Bulger , I started to bulge. Darryl Tapp is becoming my new favourite ...he might take over Rocky Benard's spot if Rock ever leaves. I hope he doesnt leave for a few years , I bought his jersey.
SF loss , Zona loss .. good week. Hawks have a bye , and should be getting Branch and Hackett back.

Least the Broncos finally showed some heart in beating the Steelers last night. The defense actually looked like it knew what it was doing, at least in the first half.
We'll see how things go, expectations are still low as hell, but at the very least I'm hoping for a 9-7 finish to the season. |

Yeah, I finally get to see the Rams on TV this season, and it just happened to be the game where the bottom really dropped out.
Say what they want about injuries, I get the feeling they would have sucked even if all hands were on deck.
Bulger was still a top-5 QB at the start of the season, but the horrid offensive line has really done him no favours. He's throwing more side arm than ever (because of his rib injury) and his line gives him about two seconds to make a play before 3 d linemen come for his head. He'll become a vegetable if the rib injury doesn't end his season first.
Not sure if you blame Linehan for this disaster of a season, but likely he doesn't survive if the team goes 0-10. _________________ Beat my drum down in Mexico! To Tijuana, Tijuana here we go!

Oh Luvah, you just had to go there ...
I tried to start this thread last night, and the web site wouldn't let me
Anyways, the Broncos win was a shocker - I thought the Steelers would run the ball down their throat. Yet another walkoff kick by Jason Elam, isn't that three this year?
Brian Griese's headset died on him with the ball on the Bears 3, last possession of the game. So he calls his own plays and takes them 97 yards for the winning TD. I think his job is safe for another week.
And the Bills knocked of the Ravens - that one blew my card _________________ I'm a Bruins fan - don't try to confuse me with the facts |

Linehan hasn't helped matters but the deterioration of the O-line began the moment Vermeil left. Martz never put much stock into making a tough O-line for all his supposed offensive prowess (he actually is quite a good offensive coordinator, he just needs a head coach to keep his silly tendencies in check), it was Orlando Pace and a bunch of scrubs. Pace goes down w/an injury and, well...
Forget the "likely," Linehan is most certainly doomed as is Dick Jauron, some probable firing choices might be Eric Mangini.
You want disaster though, I don't think there's any climbing out of the hole Miami is in right now. Cam Cameron wasn't even that good of a coach at the collegiate level, don't know what the hell the Fish were thinking hiring him. Nice move, hopefully that dumbass GM who once traded for A.J. Feeley gets the curb treatment as well. |

You're correct I really shouldnt put it all on the Pats , the Colts maybe the quietest undefeated , defending champs of all time. Nobody is talking Peyton and the Colts 6-0 and being perfect. Week 9 is gonna be awesome. I cant wait. Game of the decade. We are witnessing one of the greatest QB rivalries ever , we all wish we can see Marino vs Montana one more time in their prime , hell with that , we got it right now with Peyton v Brady in their primes.. hopefully both will still be 7-0 |

I don't think Jauron is necessarily doomed, Av ... his Bills have been competitive ( they beat the Ravens Sunday, and were the 1st team to lead the Pats ) despite a long list of season ending injuries to starters.
All things considered, he has done a better job of managing his team's injuries than Lineman. Compared to the Rams, the Bills had less to begin with. Bringin me to...

Good news for me as well...I have to start Edwards in the OTP league
Luvah, you may notice my trade offer is still dangling in the breeze
If you're worried about Warner, you may have noticed I pounced on him when someone dropped him this weekend. If it's still a no, let me know, or just reject it...I hate to leave it dangling, one injury and an "accept" click away from disaster
You are right about the Brady/Manning thing, we are watching two of the best in their primes....
MNF was unbearable last night .... I just wanted to call ESPN and scream
"Please make him stop!!!!!!"
Korn-holer wouldn't shut up with his retarded theories about Peyton using the game to make a statement to the league that he's still a good QB, or needs to keep up with Brady.
I thought Jaws was gonna strangle him ... I wish he had
Ya think maybe Manning's more concerned with Jacksonville's defense?
And no Tony, Brady isn't watching the game with a voodoo doll

Oh that was Dallas that the Bills blew it against? Nevermind then
I still don't want the Pats to go 16-0 _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

I could see the confusion as Dallas was also undefeated at that time and have lost their only game, yes to these same Patriots. _________________

week 8 early looks
jack@ TBAY -3.5 Im going with the bet against crap QB.. Quinn Gray??? who are you , man?
nyg@ MIA +9.5 nuetral site game in London England... Mia put up 28 pts on the Pats. Both teams will be jet lagged and will grind it out. Ill probably drop this game caz I cant bet on a guy named Cleo.
INdy -6.5@car .. Dave Carr or Vinny, Indy by a TD? Ill take it.
Wash +16.5@ NE .. NE wins but by 17 over a Joe Gibbs team? Redskins will slow the clock and have tons of speed in their secondary. NE wins but 17 is alot of points for a primetime sunday night game. *Edit.. I forgot WS that night so no sunday night game. |

That is too many points, Washington looks to be the trap game for New England ... I don't think they'll be necessarily looking past them to Indy, but the Skins have the best D the Pats have faced yet
They have been tough against the run & pass both _________________ I'm a Bruins fan - don't try to confuse me with the facts |

| Im definitely passing on Mia... Zach Thomas is out , he's the heart N soul to their run stop defence. Oak ran 300+ yds on them when he was out , Justin Fargas ran 200 by himself. Im actually leaning more to NYG to cover 9.5 ... Im staying away. |

| Im also backing off of INdy.. Car is off a bye week and Indy is on a short week. Plus INdy could be looking ahead to NE. Ill just stay away. |
