http://www.tsn.ca/tsn_talent/columnists/dan_pollard/ Good stuff here. Basically says that the feeder system is the issue, that while Atlanta affiliates itself with Chicago in the AHL, Chicago operates completely independently of the Thrashers. They don't hire coaches to teach Atlanta's systems, they don't give Atlanta's top prospects the ice time they need to develop like other affiliates... and he doesn't mention it, but they draw better crowds than Atlanta does some nights. _________________ It's backwards time.
