The B's were handed victory over the Caps today by being awarded some 10:00 in penalties over the last 6:00 - including 2 separate 2:00 5 on 3's
Brashere started the whole thing with a nasty high stick on David Krechi
When Nidy came to confront Brashere, he ran straight into an overhand left.
Brashere's meltdown cost him 4:00 & 2:00, consecutively
(though I'm not sure how knocking someone the fuck out with haymaker is only a roughing minor  )
The B's weren't having any success getting the puck in, when a Cap got called for somewhat "questionable" call (were the situations reversed, Razz might be making death threats to the offending zebras this very moment )
He tapped Nidy's wrists with a stick-poke, and Nidy dropped like he was shot.
To compound thing's, after Chara scored on the 5 on 3, that eliminated the first of Brashere's penalties, so it remained a 5 on 3.
The Caps finally got back to 5 on 4 (Brashere still in box) when Poti got called for snapping Savard's stick with a slash.
Another 5 on 3, Krechi fed across the goalmouth to Sturm for the 2-1 win.
That had to be the longest 6:00 of Brashere's season

Oh well, good for the B's...Brashear shouldn't get so carried away from now on. |

It's too bad McSorely didn't connect better, the world would be a better place.
Matt Cooke also viciously kneed Bobby Allen and got tossed because of it. Cooke serves no useful purpose on this earth - he's a whiny, dirty, little shit. Please crawl under a bus and die Matt - I hate your fucking guts... |
