Its the Brawl at the Mall , the rematch. The last time they played it was a fight filled contest that sparked Edm's current 10-2 run and kept Van's spirit alive.

Dude, you're supposed to predict a 9-0 shellacking by those damned Oilers... Now this team is really doomed... And it's all your fault.

I predict an Edmonton shootout win. That's not going out any limb whatsoever. Laughing

I predict either a regulation victory by the Canucks or a shootout win for the Oilers.

How 'bout them odds ?

AV is keeping the twins split 5 on 5 to start the game and Shannon gets in instead of Isbister.

Naslund Mo Pett
Pyatt Henrik Shannon
Bur Kes Daniel
Cowan Rypien Linden

I actually really like Shannons' spot , on paper that is , a big body to give him room and a playmaker to get him some chances.

McIver is also back tonight. They expect a phsycial game from their cransh and bang line.

Rolosson in for Edm

That Shannon / Pyatt Goal was a thing of beauty. If that doesn't de-motivate the Oil I don't know what would. 13 minutes to go!

3-0

4-1. Trev nets one. Hemsky was definitely tripped, but if anything, he should have also received a penalty for diving.

Oilers failure to capitalize on PP opportunities is their downfall in this game.

Talk about showboating... Laughing It was pretty to be sure, but it would have been just as embarassing if they didn't score on the play. Laughing I really liked Linden's shorty and Heavy's goal was sublime. Who knew he could shoot like that?

Well, let's make sure they get in first before we count those chickens... Mad It's still pitifully soft and undersized compared to the likes of Anaheim, San Jose, and even Dallas. I think they match up better against Minnesota or even Calgary, but I don't think that'll happen in the first round. It will be interesting to see which of the NW teams has the nuts to finish strong and get the #3 seed in the W.
