THE WEATHER WAS JUST +20C EARLIER THIS WEEK.
40 cm of snow? Continuous blizzard from Saturday night through Monday night?

I was going to visit my folks this weekend. Travel is said to be "impossible" for Sunday and Monday. Sorry mom and dad, I can't make it. I'm not getting trapped in fucking Outlook for an extra day or two because of fucking snow.

I was supposed to see my parents at the cottage last weekend - and they called at 7:00 Friday morning and told me to stay home. They got 4 hours of freezing rain that took the power and phone lines down, and then 20 cm of snow. Winter this year is effin ridiculous. |

| -12 with the windchill here in the Loops today,Are you kidding me,I can't ever remember it being this cold for this long into the year in Kamloops and I have been here pretty much 40 years,I can remember cold days in March and April but this has been going on for pretty much the entire spring,The average daily temperature for this time of year is normally around 20 degrees celsius thats around 70 degrees for those south of the border |

At least it's only -8. (-17 with windchill)
Fuck me....they're calling for 5 more inches of snow by tomorrow morning with the white stuff not stopping until Wednesday.
30 km/hr winds as well.
