I'm not concerned. The refs had a horribly slanted period that was largely undeserved. Our penalties were certainly justified, but Ottawa's equally egregious infractions were being ignored.
In reality we stopped taking our opponents seriously (which can happen when you're up 7-1) but by the time it was 7-4 we had mostly righted the ship.
Truth is the Senators still gave another horrible effort when it mattered against a divisional rival, we clinched a playoff spot, and we jumped out to a huge lead for the division title. A good night, all things considered.

It's the equivelant of going out on the town, get really hammered, fuck the hottest girl in the club, get beat up by her boyfriend and then end up spending all the rest of the night in front of the toilet puking your guts out. Still a good night, just a horrible ending.
