Chris Chelios has tied Ray Bourque in regular season NHL games played and looks ready to pass Larry Murphy if he gets 4 more games in this season. He will pass Dave Andreychuk and Scott Stevens sometime next season for sole possession of 4th place all time, trailing only Gordie Howe, Mark Messier and Ron Francis, if he signs for another year. A very likely possibility according to Chelly and the Red Wings.
