To those who hadn't been clued in by now, Price makes an amazing glove save with seconds to go to secure his shutout.
The depth of our defence is truly remarkable, O'Byrne had a great game. Even Breezer in limited duty looks pretty decent. Obviously Price can make any defenceman look good. Also, Markov really should be getting Norris consideration.
The refs tried their hardest to take this game away from us, but we've now put the fear of Le CH in one of our biggest thorns. BTW, all TSN can talk about how much of a leader Jason Spezza is for attacking the media and getting his team riled up. A lot of good that did, asswipes.
Good to see the Sens could still miss the playoffs. Bryan Murray - you are a punk. _________________ John McCain is fit as a fiddle… Is 71 the new 30?” - Fox News' Rich Lowry

Their depth rivals Tampa's from a couple years ago.... beyond their big guns, the other guys don't step up. They completely rely on their stars to win games for them.
Their goaltending is obviously bad at this point. When I mentioned Tampa a couple years ago, I meant it... they are getting John Grahame quality goaltending.
It's a classic "they weren't as good as their record early, and they aren't as bad as their record lately". Confidence and panic have set in, and it's almost game over for them. It's amazing what's happened, but I don't think it's all a coincidence.
I can only think of a couple of players that are genuinely underachieving, mainly Redden and Mezaros. Phillips has had a bit of a letdown this year, but nothing catastrophic. Fisher has been up and down, but he's not they type to be consistent on results, only effort.
And I have maintained this thought... you know there are warning signs when a team signs Randy Robitaille. It's like signing Jon Sim... they can only play on bad teams. _________________ "Oh my God. Mike Fisher has been a big disappointment considering his contract. Good energy guy, but he's proving he's a mediocre offensive presence on a line without stars.
Pierre and Yvon were talking about Vermette as a Selke candidate. Selke nominees usually come out of the blue, that would be interesting. _________________ John McCain is fit as a fiddle… Is 71 the new 30?” - Fox News' Rich Lowry
