Well, depending on the outcome of the Flamers/Sharts game, we could either be facing the Dallas Stars or Detroit Red Wings.
Neither matchup is exactly favorable to us. I think I'll go with the majority of Avs fans and say I want the Stars. IF we should advance...a conference final against Detroit (assuming they beat the Flamers) just seems right.
Either way, it's a very long shot for the Avs to advance.
Hate to say it, but yes, I'll be rooting for Calgary tonight. Not only do I want to see the Avs play Dallas, but a SJ advance will only prolong Ron Wilson's insufferable tenure with the Sharks. End it now. |
