Guess I'll start editing the Depth Chart/Roster Movement Thread to offseason mode. Mad

On the positive note, my nerves will be better, blood pressure way down and I can spend evenings at the gym or doing positive things again more frequently...

(I think I watched or listened to 90% of the games this year and it was one of the best in a long time as a habs fan)

I can't say I didn't have a lot of fun following this team this year. i can definitely attest to that.

The standard for "amazing" has been lowered significantly.

Damned - I thought this Montreal team would go a lot further... Pity. But at least your team looks like it's pretty set and won't lose too much to FA, unlike Buffalo had.

Yeah - it's an awfully disappointing end. But the habs are pretty solid organizationally with enough depth to withstand future player losses. My main worry is whether Kovalev can keep is intensity for another year. He was awful in the postseason - I doubt they would have went this far without Koivu.... and that's also disconcerting. I'm also curious as to what happened to Price's glove hand - I thought that was one of his strengths? Jitters? Tired (he played a SHIT load of games in a 12 month span)?

I like what Higgins said - winning a series has made winning in the post-season addictive. If most of the kids feel this way, then this team will learn alot from this loss and hopefully can improve like the Pens did last year.

All in all - the team deserves to enjoy the off-season because they had a great season. I did feel they' would make the postseason, but not in such a dominating fashion. Here's to a Cup for the 100th anniversary.

FWIW - I agree Bruce. Fun is fun. Bullshit is bullshit. SW's team won - fair and square. Give us the shit. Razz's post? Flaming and trolling. I doubt that's really his style... everything I hear is that he's a pretty cool guy.

Speaking of which, doesn't Razz have to don the Flyers Avatar

I've sent SW a PM telling her to cook up something special for razz.
