I do not believe that Ron Wilson should be canned. Only one team wins the cup. Does that mean the rest of the NHL "choked?" BULLSHIT.
San Jose has had terrific seasons these past years, pushing far into the playoffs.
The teams that need to "take stock" are the ones at the bottom of the ladder - those that didn't even make the playoffs.
I remember vividly when the Red Wings were called "the Dead Things". When everybody accused us of "choking". Yes, changes were made. But once we started winning, even when we did not make it to the finals, no one called us "chokers" again.
San Jose is a winning team. A little tweaking is fine, wholesale changes do not have to be made.
