TSN

Proactive signing him this season rather than seeing what's available next year...

Who has cap and roster space for a 1 year goaltending gamble? I can't see Columbus bringing him in. Carolina? I guess LA maybe.

Chicago is challenging you for the West title next year, so no dice. Razz

Chicago is no joke.....I expect them to compete heavily in the West next year.

Bulin is going home to sign in the Super league.

Chicago is going to make some real noise this upcoming season. Playoff experience will be their biggest drawback. There's three pair of tickets I'll want to hold back for myself and my main partner in crime. I hope the NHL gets it right and has them on a Friday or a Saturday night.

Christobal Huet now makes more money than Martin Brodeur.

We lost a year of hockey to get to this?

Huet's going to be on the IR for half this deal.

Sask, go back and look at the trade deadline posts in the Habs forum where we discuss what it would have taken to re-sign Huet.

What the fuck happened in four months?

No shit. He had a great stretch run, but... fuck. Only Markov makes more than him on the Habs. Laughing

He is, mainly because of his inability to play a high number of games during the regular season as well as his lack of playoff pedigree. He also lacks the natural athleticism of a lot of the top goalies on the list, and relies on positioning more than most of that list.
