They had the newbies doing a running test - outside?
It was well over 90, with like 80% humidity today

Not saying he doesn't deserve it, but I find it amusing that the Masterton has sort of become, "Who was the unluckiest bastard this past season? Let's give him an award for his trouble!"
Assuming Bergeron successfully rehabs, he'd actually be the first winner in a few years of the 'classic' variety rather than the fell-ill-so-we-gave-him-an-award variety. Although it used to go almost exclusively to cagey veterans. _________________

I agree, I'd rather see it go to a guy like Glen Metropolit or even Gary Roberts... |
