4-1 Avalanche in the third.

Kipper out...Keetley in? Who the hell is this guy!?

Amazing the Avs have given up only one. Theo has been good, not great, and both teams have looked just AWFUL in the defensive zone. Avs have certainly looked more organized and aggressive in the attacking zone though.

And someone please send Cumiskey back down to the A though...he is thoroughly terrible defensively, he's got a lot to learn before he's a capable NHLer.

4-1 final. The line of Wooj-Staz-Duke DOMINATES. If the Smyth-Sakic-Svatos line can stay healthy and consistent we may be onto something here.

Note of concern...this team just looks awful 5-on-3. It's too much of a momentum-swinger to let opportunities like that pass. Q needs to work on the power play in all phases, and do it now.

It's very possible Jeff Hackett is a good goalie coach. Theo looks smarter positionally than he did last season, where I thought he relied too much on his athleticism and reflexes, I think Hackett is teaching him a better technique. I don't know if he had good technique before or he was just faster before injuries set in, but whatever it is, he's playing smarter and making it easier on himself. I'm not hoping he'll regain his Vezina/Hart form, but who knows, he could at least be solid down the stretch...*fingers crossed*.
