The Leafs are considered the slight underdogs in this match, but I'm sure we will be playing with alot of heart, kind of like a cute puppy trying to stop a runaway train with its head.
In: Bell is in, Wellwood.
Out: Gamache (scratched AND waived, OMG WTF?!), Battaglia, and Belak
I think with Belak out we will probably get pushed around more than a little bit.
Hopefully our goaltending will be up to snuff so that we can atl east make a brave stand against The Coming Darkness, and not, you know, get blown out.

Why did they waive Gamache? I thought he had been playing well for a 4 th line guy.

He has 4 points in 11 games, not exactly dominating numbers but compared to his ice-time probably not bad.
Presumably he is being waived to send him down to the AHL, now that Wellwood and Bell are back- I guess he just dropped of the bottom of the depth chart. At only 26, the Leafs probably want him to get some action in the minors, rather than sitting out 5 games out of 6. Could be a mistake if he gets claimed though, which is entirely possible.

3-0 about half way through the game.
Leafs are literally having trouble skating without falling down.
