...Otherwise known as, "What's in your DVR's timers?"

******************

Bionic Woman: I'm afraid this show has lost my interest. Just not that interesting, and when Miguel Ferrer, Jr. is more interesting a character than the lead, you know it's in trouble. Besides, she reminds me of an ex-gf [shudders]...

Chuck: Have this TiVo'ed downstairs and still haven't had a chance to watch it.

Heroes: Still going strong - so far...

Law & Order CI: Still catching up on past episodes, now that we've seen every episode of L&O SVU at least three times.

Battlestar Galactica: Still waiting for the final season to start...

Lost: Time to punt this...

Medium: Huh?

Burn Notice: I like.

Dresden Files: I heard this show is getting axed. I'm not too bothered.

Eureka: Could go either way.

Still default to History Channel (big surprise - and yes, I watch it in hopes that it will trigger some long gone memories of my youth in Ancient Mesopotamia...) and when it's available on the preview channels, the Military Channel.

Really? Because I haven't heard that.

NBC has picked it up for a fourth season, which won't start until after the Superbowl. The declining ratings don't look very promising.

If anyone's not watching How I Met Your Mother yet, I feel sorry for you. I really do.

No, I was asking you if it was off the air, I really hadn't heard anything.

Why is it off until February?

Fox's version of Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares on Wednesday is the only newish show I make an effort to watch...tonight actually.

They really should do the follow up visit like the British one and the people being "helped" seem more cartoon like compared to the original, but it is fox so expectations where there for it. Still fun to watch for me.

My guess is that it's usual time slot is currently taken up by Sunday Night Football on NBC. And it probably doesn't fit anywhere else, given its audience demographic.

It's very good but not near as good as 30 Rock. Alex Baldwin's portrayal of Redd Foxx of Sanford and Son in one scene will be one of the comedy highlights of the year. Had the whole water cooler gang in awe the day after.

But as Tina Fey pointed out when thanking their "dozens and dozens of fans" this show just doesn't seem to get much notice.

I agree on 30 Rock and How I Met Your Mother.

The new show Pushing Daisies has captured my heart. It's very dark and funny and the sets are like Tim Burton meets Dr. Seuss. I highly recommend it.

Very Happy

The g/f loves Pushing Daisies, I must admit it feels too quirky for even my tastes. She also loves Private Practice, and I let her watch that instead of Bionic Woman since that show really hasn't done much for me. Private Practice just feels like Grey's Anatomy with a less annoying cast, so I don't watch either.

Yes, yes, I know...

Anyway my TV watching is way down, Heroes is really the only show I keep up with, I'm very disappointed I completely fell off with Doctor Who...I'll have to buy the Series Two DVD set to catch up. I will re-up w/Battlestar Galactica when it finally comes back for the final season next year. And of course if and when that Knight Rider series comes on I will be glued to the friggin' set.

Anyway, has Jericho come back yet?

Laughing Laughing

Seriously though - it does seem to have been cancelled in Toronto. We went straight from summer to winter in less than a week.

On another t.v. note, I've started watching Heroes with Josh, and this weekend will be a couch weekend to catch up on the first season. Wow. What a great show. My favorite hero is Hiro.

Hiro is (I think) everyone's favorite, hotties like Jessica/Nikki and Cheerleader aside. He's really the heart and soul of the series, if not for him the show wouldn't be nearly as much fun.

Hmm I am kind of tailing off on Heroes.......I'd rather watch Everest on the Discovery Channel.

After last years gay ass ending......and this years plot that seems to blow in the breeze i've about had it. The coolest guy on there is Peter and they have completely Pwhipped him.

Of course Hayden is still smokingly hot and probably the only reason I watch the show for now.

It is real close to getting its own Heroes is Gay thread.

Heroes never happened for me either this year. Not sure why just couldn't get motivated to try and watch it again.

On another TV subject, I am missing the Daily Show and Colbert Report with this writer's strike.

Sad

OH my god.
Did anyone see this week's "Slapsgiving" episode of How I Met Your Mother? It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Neil Patrick Harris is hilarious.

Anyone watching Chuck? I haven't seen it but it looks good. And Rachel Bilson is on the show now. Should I take the plunge or not? When the heck is it on, anyway?

Chick show or not - I'm getting a kick out of Pushing Daisies. The P.I.'s sarcasm to the sacchrin sweetness of the show is fucking hiliarious.
