Red Wings Central has just released it's first prospect ranking for the season. Jimmy Howard tops the list followed closely by Jakub Kindl. Rounding out the top 5, in order, are 3.) Justin Abdelkader, 4.) Cory Emmerton and 5.) Brendan Smith. Igor Grigorenko fell 13 spots from the last ranking from # 3 to # 16.
