Is this the third meeting already? Count me quasi-interested. I have some work that I put off today, so I might do it while half watching the game.
I'm fairly certain no one on the Habs is dumb enough to make fun of Jason Blake's cancer, so expect a pretty typical Mechant Mardi contest. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor to choose the right TV. Luckily, I am one.

Looking forward to watching Price anyways. See if he is still as smooth as he was early in the year when I watched him. _________________ It's not you Sundin, it's me...please just leave...and don't look back....please please do not look back. |

1. Markov = my Norris Candidate at this early juncture
2. Garth Murray was claimed off waivers by the Kitty Cats, so even if we lose today, we won today _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor to choose the right TV. Luckily, I am one.

Good for Garth landing a NHL gig. Sucks that my one freaking namesake in the past like, decade, couldn't cut it, though.
Markov is still having a below average year defending. Blake turned him inside out on one play... never saw that at all last year. 15 points in 17 games is awesome (hell, I wish we had a forward that consistently produced at that pace), but Komi is carrying the load without the puck.
Price is... a sick, sick thing. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Just from what I've seen this year, Markov has been turned inside out a few times. Previously, I always thought his one-on-one game was great. _________________ Bring back the old OTP!

Having Price in goal for a 5 on 3 seems to work wonders. Not that he had to make any unbelievable saves, but just like the Boston game, that was a huge kill.
I'm starting to think people are exaggerating Price's shootout heroics and missing the real story... Price in goal when killing a penalty. Remember the WJC last year vs. the USA? They had an insane PP in OT and Price made about 8 or 9 saves, some just unbelievable, to force the shootout. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. Terrible penalty followed by a terrible PK. Ugh, can this team stop playing down to the Leafs' level? _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. The Leafs still care about the rivalry, the Habs don't.
Thankfully, we only play 6 times, so it means we try harder the other 76. As for the Leafs...
We've really played poorly today. Ryder is done in this town, even when he comes back and scores 30. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor to choose the right TV. Luckily, I am one.

Eric, you completely jinxed Markov this game. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

If this kind of effort is all that's needed to tie the Leafs, then no wonder they're struggling.
Second goal out of nowhere for the Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Kovalev line. 9th goal of the year (what the hell) for Kovalev. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. Don't want to jinx the kid, but Raycroft is playing one hell of a game tonite.
Wellwood has been buzzin' around too.
On a side note, I hope somebody ends Sean Avery's career the next time these two clubs meet.
Sure, I'm a few days late on the comment, but it hasn't left my mind.
I would never wish physical harm onto ANYBODY ... but him.
I don't like the guy & if I had the opportunity, I would like to drop the gloves with him myself.
Thank you for caring.

Man, 3 on 3 creates whackier heroes than the shootout.
Mike Komisarek with a breakaway OT winner. Nice assist by McCabe, though to be completely honest he's probably not sure what the hell to do in a 3 on 3 situation anyways.
Uh... we didn't deserve that at all. But I guess we deserved better out of the first two games vs Toronto.
Whatever. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

Price beat Raycroft, and 36 other guys probably should have paid for their seats. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor to choose the right TV. Luckily, I am one.

Finally the Habs get two points out of the Leafs. Call me an old school fan, but I'll take a rivalry over Montreal vs. Nashville any day of the week. Great seeing a Montreal contingent at my buddy's pub in T.O. Also funny is how there are less T.O. fans there now that the Leafs are a bunch of .... wait... this is your forum... it rhymes with Tuckers. _________________ The fans represent the soul of the organization. btw - GWG by Komi? wtf? I hope everyone taped this because it will be a long time before this happens again.... hell - it'll be awhile before he scores again. _________________ The fans represent the soul of the organization.
