With the latest agreement, EA will further expand the opportunities available to advertisers by extending the participation of current titles in the Massive network as well as incorporating additional, highly anticipated games over the course of the deal. The wide range of EA content that will be available in the Massive network includes the next two iterations of popular EA SPORTS™ franchises including Madden NFL football, NBA LIVE basketball, NASCAR ® racing and NHL® hockey.

Massive will continue to be the exclusive in-game ad network for PC and Xbox 360 platforms of the world’s largest racing franchise, EA’s Need For Speed™, including current live titles Need for Speed Carbon and Need for Speed ProStreet. Massive is also working with marketers to incorporate dynamic advertising into another popular EA racing title, Burnout™ Paradise.

I've read that this happens sometimes...you should be eligible for a replacements disc is this is a recent purchase and there's no obvious scratching on the disc.

Dude... Laughing You do realize that an XBox 360 is really nothing more than a dumbed-down PC with an high-end (for 2005) graphics card, don't you? Would you move your desktop with the HD still spinning?

Just pick up a used copy from Gamestop or eBay.

Finally made it through the main quest of the Oblivion expansion Shivering Isle. Picked up GTA Vice City for 9 bucks for shits and giggles.

I found this to be really cool: http://www.image-metrics.com/

As you can see from their client list, their technology is being used by gaming companies... Personally, I think online porn is going to be all over this... Laughing

I don't play games on my computer anymore (aside from lame 2 min web-based time killers at work) and even I am looking forward to this one!

Downside: I played the Sims once for 20 straight hours, stopping only for food and showers... and I wasn't even really enjoying myself. I just wanted to see what happened when I got max promotions. Imagine what will happen when universal conquest is on the line??? People like me should not be allowed near this game!

This game has been in development for years, and has been hyped for so long. I imagine that if it had been released 3 years ago, the Architect wouldn't have any kids right now...

The creature creator thingie has already been released.

This game has absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever. Of course, I own a copy of GTAIV that I still haven't played, and Halo 3 sits on the shelf and played rarely.

Has anyone tried to connect an external HDD to an XBox 360 to store more downloads? Been reading about a way to connect one via USB, and formating for FAT32... Anyone tried this yet?

For fans of FPS/TPS like moi, a reason to look forward to Thanksgiving: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Mn77d4aP-s&feature=related

Only available on XBox 360...

BTW, is Rock Band worth getting now (I saw an SE set available at Sam's Club for $140) and are the 'instruments' compatible with RB2?

Just wait a couple weeks for Rock Band 2.

All instruments will be compatible and Microsoft has decreed that all instrument controllers for Rock Band 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and Konami's Rock Revolution must all be compatible with each other.

-Best guitar controllers so far = Guitar Hero 3, which is definitely compatible with Rock Band
-You can use any USB microphone.
-Hold out for next-gen drums, the RB1 drums are shite.

It may be worth getting a RB1 disc since you can import all the RB1 songs into RB2.

Thanks for the advice! We already have an USB mic from another game, been hearing that the Harmonix hardware is pretty piss-poor compared to the GH stuff. Will look out for a GH3 controller and next gen drums - is there a separate bass guitar controller as well? Been looking for a good mp game for the kids that is rated E and I hear that RB is very good, although their hardware is not that great.
