Well, it's presale day this morning for the upcoming Canadian tour by the Foo Fighters.
I got on at 10:00 and about 3 seconds and managed to get my allotment of floor tickets for the Edmonton show. By 10:02 the floor was sold out.
Same thing happened for Toronto and Winnipeg, and presumably will happen in Vancouver.
However, after over a full hour there's still apparently copious amounts of floor tickets left for Saskatoon.
What gives? I figured Toontown would be all over this. |

Well, I'm not buying. I've seen 'em once at a festival, and that's probably the only way I'd end up seeing them again. Not a bad band or anything, just not particularily high on my list. I only really liked the first album when Grohl wrote the entire thing on his drum kit, and then since then it's kind of been hit or miss (though the second album was pretty good).
I only heard about the show Monday night. Sometimes the main promoter here is absolutely terrible. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."

They must be atrocious. No other city's floor seats lasted more than 5 minutes and Saskatoon still has tons available after 2 hours.
Just seems to me that given how often Saskatoon gets skipped over on some of these tours that they'd be all over this.
Given that it's a March concert and christmas season is fast approaching, I assume it'll still sell out pretty quick by Friday once the regular public sale is going. On that note I scooped some floor seats there that are destined for ebay in a couple weeks. |
