We wouldn't want to give anyone the idea that there was any Western culture to be had in the Pacific Northwest, of course.

the one on the far right is ok , she looks like a stoned hippie bear..perfect

what the hell are the other two? aside from skunks , do we have animals that are black with white bellies? ... so of all the animals to represnt VAncouver ...mountain lions , cougars , bears , whales , sharks , salmon , eagles , ... we're going with a skunk?

Ill say this , if the Teletubbies are looking for trouble , they found it if they ever come to the 2010 games.

Well the sad thing is, as far as Olympic Mascots go, those aren't so bad.

I cant prove it but this revealing happening in Surrey has something to do with this garbage. Its all Surrey's fault , just like 26% of all known STDs.. its all Surrey's fault!

I hear Mike Weaver was on the committee...

Apparently one is a "Spirit Bear"... do we have to give a nod to the natives on EVERY single opening and closing ceremony and mascot and God knows that else?

We get it! We have natives! They have culture! Great! Now the world will think that we're a bunch of aboriginals, all thanks to bloody political correctness...

Meh...I could care less. Can you remember any Olympic mascots that were great? If the kids like them, fine. Me I could care less - although they do look like they are some sort of Anime, which I'm not a fan of.

And yes, they all seem to have nods to the natives.

Sumi is a spirit animal that flies with Thunderbird wings.
Miga (the snowboarding sea-bear) is part killer whale, part kermode.
Add a sasquatch (Quatchi), and some other side kick who's drawing I didn't see.....

This means as much to me as the ice-dance competition.

Funny, I would think the love-spawn of a killer whale and bear would look more like Brent Sopel...

I'm sorry, Guys. These are god-awful. I'm really glad Vancouver got the olympics, though. I'd love to go.

Speaking of the big O - my favorite non-NHL jersey is the US team the year that we took the silver and Canada got the Gold. I love those jerseys.
