I missed that one. Damnit I love garlic. Last one I saw was the coffee battle with Cora and it was awesome.

Hey, I got a raise I guess, retroactive to February 1. I was expecting it, but they didn't bring me in and tell me about it, it's just on my paycheque this time. Guess I can definitely pay off all my debts as well as put some aside for vacation. I was going to be fully paid off this paycheque anyways, but a little extra on top is nice. Smile

Does anyone have a copy of David Geddes' Run Joey Run? I hate using iTunes for older stuff and I can't find a torrent.

It was awesome... Never thought tripe would seem the least bit appetizing - ever... Seems Cosentino likes his offal. And it all came together brilliantly. Final scores were something like 46/44 (out of a possble 50) so there was some damned fine cooking...

OK so I splurged on the iTunes of Run Joey Run. Awesome 70's cornball. If you like 70's music you need to hear this forgotten relic.

Has anyone seen any episodes of the Documentary Channel series The 7 Ages of Rock?

Last Sunday was the episode on punk, and it covered Patti Smith, the Ramones, the Sex Pistols and the Clash.

It was really amazing. All of the interviews are with the artists who made the music, or were influenced by the music.

This Sunday's episode is Heavy Metal. I can't wait! Here's the description:

This week - Never Say Die: Heavy Metal (1970-1991)

Emerging at the tail end of the hippy dream, heavy metal would go on to conquer the world. With the members of Black Sabbath as the undisputed godfathers, this episode follows their journey. Also featuring Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and Metallica.

I would highly recommend watching this series if you aren't already doing so!

I'd love to see it but they haven't, as of yet, shown it here in the States. Eventually someone across the pond will probably youtube it and I'll get a good peek at it then. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks Skip!
I will check that out later - I missed the Jimi Hendrix and David Bowie episodes and have been wondering how I am going to see them.

You're the BEST!
Very Happy

I feel your pain.

After a winter of flats or boots, I tried out the heels on Wednesday - spent the day at work running from meeting to meeting - then went to play pool.

After 15 hours in heels, I was crippled. So crippled, I couldn't even run 40 feet to make it to the steetcar - and had to cab it home.

Foot pain and arch cramps are agony. I must be kind to my feet and try to work my way back up to full days in high heels. I might try 4 hour shifts and work my way back up from there.

I won't even attempt heels at work or school. Too much walking.

I try to wear my cute shoes when I go out but usually my give up and get my flats out of the car. Sad
