Ok. I get it. You guys love jesus, you hate gays and abortions and people who support gays or are pro-choice. Do you really have to stand around chanting all f'ing day with signs out around my home?

Agree 100%. Somehow it went from love and acceptance to persecuting all those with slightly different ritual superstitions.

Don't make me go all MOD on this thread... Please let's get back to random ramblings and get away from religious rants...

I spent all last night at a recording studio. Got home at 10am, woke up at 5pm, now I have to somehow get some sleep before starting work at 7am tomorrow. Fucking hell, I'm confused. I'm not even sure how I feel.

Cast my vote in both the U.S. and Canadian federal elections today...

...never done that before.

I also didn't realize that the VP candidate can run independently for Senator... I'm used to seeing Biden on the ballot, but not in two places.

I am assuming Delaware has always been your state.

Yeah, I actually consulted a lawyer before voting for the first time in 1996 because there was some ambiguity as to whether my last address (from when I was a baby), or the closest thing I had to a current address (my father's place in Washington State) would count as my "voting address". The rules leaned more toward Delaware, so at least my vote has a bit of an impact... until the Electoral College kicks in. Laughing

I have more Hockey jerseys that I play in than actual shirts in my wardrobe rotation.

My whole body feels like I've just been run through a meat grinder and then piled back up into people-form. Even sitting hurts!

it does. our ndp guy was svend robinson's right hand man for years, and is a million times better than the other candidates. i hate the conservatives redneck, idiotic approach to crime, and therefore do not wish harper to ever get a majority. i want to help ensure this riding does not go conservative, because if ridings like ours do, they may get their majority...

Good idea.

I'm looking for a minority either way - I'm not too pissed about who ends up in charge - though I am irked by Layton's 2006 power play that had us ending up with the prospect of a conservative majority. Can't vote green - too many vegans.
