Honestly... what gives? Last year was virtually the opposite problem.

Good news might be coming... Tampa Bay and their 2nd worst road record come into town on the tail end of back-to-back games (tonight they play Toronto) on Tuesday. Of course, they have the "Q" factor going for them in Montreal, so we'll see what unfolds. We play Philly in Philly afterwards, and they've been dropping games at home recently as well, and as mentioned, we have a top end road record.

And sam, as a pre-emptive measure, I'd like to point out that our kid ratio is largely unchanged from this year to last... Halak succeded at home, Price hasn't. That's about it. Wink

Feaster is probably going to be in Montreal??? Fire up the Vinny and Richards trade rumours.

I can't pinpoint the problem, but I'm guessing Dandy playing alongside Saks and Higgins isn't the solution.

Lots of young guys + St. laurent Blvd. = poor home record.

Like I mentioned, last year it wasn't an issue. Same % of young players on the team last year as this year.

Heh heh. I'm not down on the kids sask. I am, however, unimpressed with their performance and development so far. Said it once, and I'll say it again, they look like a bunch of Russ Courtnalls many nights. All moves - no scoring. Higgins is my exception to the rule.

(see my carbo thread. I wonder how much he is helping.....)

Took 'em a while to find the hotspots, plus after a year more chicks recognize them now.

Good point. Also probably why Hainsey is emerging as dependable in Columbus, and why at age 27 or 28 or whatever he is now, Ribs is producing consistently in Dallas. Laughing

How about Beauchemin? Laughing He only played one game, how many times was he out with "general body soreness"?

Well, jumping up from Hamilton's night life to Montreal's for even one game probably called for a celebration of epic proportions. That night alone might've set him back about 3 years of development.

Montreal's nightlife is overstated. Just because young men and women come from across Canada and the US to our universities and seemingly fall between the cracks after a few nights on the town doesn't mean our Habs are making the same mistakes.

Now if you don't mind keeping it down in here, I didn't have the best sleep, and I have the worst ringing between the ears right now. I'm taking the rest of the week off.
