pretty sad they show up for the last 5 mins---
Cooke & Ritchie were both pretty bad. The kings played a good team game.

Throw Morrison in there as well. He blew the coverage on Armstrong when he scored the Kings' 3rd goal. BMo also took the wrong man on the Penguins' goal last game. He should have come back to cover Sykora. If you're not scoring, then your defensive game has to be sound and Morrison's isn't right now.
That said, I expected the Canucks to come away with only one win on this California road trip. They are showing the fatigue of this retarded part of the schedule. You don't fly around playing in the Midwest and South, then come home for one before playing 3 in California and not show wear and tear. I ranted about this earlier, that Boston had a road trip out West to start the season and now never leave the Eastern time zone for the rest of the regular season. Philadelphia started on a Western road swing as well and only have to leave the Eastern time zone twice for the rest of the season, both single game road trips to Denver and Minnesota. The NHL hierarchy and favoritism is bullshit. You can bet the Canucks' record every season would be better if they only had to make one Eastern road trip and play 70+ games in Calgary, Edmonton, Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, Denver, Phoenix, Anaheim, San Jose and Las Vegas. Not because the East is more competitive but because the Canucks wouldn't be so road weary in so many stretches of the season.
Oh and Hola, Whistler, welcome aboard OTP. You're over at CC as well, aren't you? This place needs more Canucks fans. |

WOW
Thanks for all the welcomes....it's almost overwhelming...but appreciated.
I like the site.
It's cool that the game day threads are on the host team's page...almost like travelling to see the away game. I like it. |

Funny that you should mention that...
But really, it seems to work well because we have fans in other NHL cities and it just didn't make sense to have a GDT about the same game in two fora... Glad you like it! _________________ ... Because the old one, is well, old.
