1988 draft 1st overall Mike Modano , 2nd overall Trevor Linden.. 20 years later and they are still kicking it.. and still for their drafted franchises.

Luckily this is PPV and I have tons of holiday crap to do so Ill gladly miss this 1-0 OT/SO win for somebody.

What goes through a scorekeeper's mind when he alters an unassisted goal to give it two assists? Laughing

Too bad they couldn't hold them off the scoresheet for the last ten minutes... That first goal he gave up was a bit of his own fault... Nice, timely goals by Daniel - again going to the net nicely on the first goal... Nice (lucky) goal by Raymond.

So, Bobby Lu faces Brodeur and wins 5-0... Turco, no sweat, wins 3-2. Cool

Dull game ended with some excitement. JAffray's called off goal was a beauty. The NUx really seemed to get under Turco's skin the fans were getting on his case something wonderfully as well

Sorry if it was mentioned already but did you guys read about Turco and Smith adding extra area to their pads and doing an "impression" of Luongo in practice?

No, I heard about it on the radio though.

1. Tom & Shorty seemed to think it was good fun.

2. Luongo got the last laugh.

3. Seriously though, if they think his pads are too big (against the rules) - get the officials to measure them.

4. The Stars coach on an after game interview was asked about it and he said that in his opinion all the goalie pads in the NHL are too big.

as we get near the half way point and Silverfox will hopefuly put up the halfway post I would say Luongo should be the halfway Vezina and Hart finalist again if not winner.

I played a TIE(has to goto shootouts) and UNDER.. the UNDER was 4.5 so I lost that one too! that jinx only works when I really think the Canucks are going to lose ..like sunday vs Colorado. its truly the last game of this long horrid stretch...12 games in 22 nights , 3 games in 4 nights , less than 24hrs rest on the road in Colorado... that has Avalanche win written all over it. Enjoy!
