i didn't know it was on either ... flipped to NESN during commercial in Pats-Giants and saw the 5-0 score...flipped back 
I did catch some of the postgame...Savard whining because Atlanta sent out their top line when they were up 5-0
What are they gonna do, bench their best players for the 3rd because they're winning? Best analogy I've heard regarding "running up the score" is:
"Tiger Woods doesn't play the back 9 with just driver,wedge, and putter"
