May the NEW YEAR bring y'all everything you wish for...except the Stanley Cup. That belongs to the Red Wings 
New Year's Resolutions, anyone?
1) Tell corporate that I want to travel to places where I can catch an occasional NHL game. (It's Pennsylvania next two trips - should be ok)
2) Stop being a corporate doormat. My manager scheduled me for 1 day off in 19 days - over xmas holidays no less.
3) I WILL meet at least ONE OTP member face to face this year. Fuck my insecurity at being a fat old lady. Now if any of y'all show up looking like a buff George Clooney...I'm hiding.....maybe 
4) Get a car that does not sound like a Harley (my exhaust system blew up about 2 months ago.
All the rest of that usual crap I won't mention - I never keep it anyway!

I got together with some friends. Ate food, drank much and played Rock Band.
Didn't have a chance to see my soldier before he went back. 
But other than that it was a GREAT night.

My New Years ended with a bang. It was me careening across the living room and crashing into my accoustic guitar. No bang for Dec 31st, but my New Year started with a fantastic bang. Sparks baby! |

Happy 2008 Everyone!
My New Year's Eve started with a BIG BANG (ummmm and a few whimpers  )
