to make this game even more annoying to watch , its PPV. Shaw's PPV service has been brutal this season. Good news is Nash and Cgy both play 2 hrs in advance so we can get an idea if this game even matters or worth watching.

If both the Canucks and Predators lose tonight in regulation, Chicago controls their own destiny and can pass both teams by winning their final two games.

Shaw dosen't acually have anything to do with PPV. As far as I know. It's the Canucks broadcast that keeps screwing everything up. I was talking to a family member that works for Shaw a she was saying that Shaw wants to drop the PPV games because the Canucks broadcasting team does a poor job and all the problems that persist with PPV. Shaw takes the heat for the Canucks fuck ups and they're getting tired of it.

Aparently the Canucks get most of the money from the PPV games. From what I heard the service calls during a PPV game are astronomical. Time = $. Plus all the refunds they give back. It would be nice to see what the Canucks generate compared to the money Shaw generates from PPV. I'm sure the Nucks take a much higher percentage and don't have to deal with all the BS Shaw has to. PPV is not a Shaw/Bell thing. I believe they get a cut but mostly just the provider of a horrible Canucks PPV broadcast. I blame the Canucks. It's their idea. People need to stop watching the games on PPV and it will be weeded out. There's nothing wrong with a game on the radio like the good old days. If the PPV games were broadcast like the Sportsnet/TSN/CBC broadcast. The games are just worth the 14$ it costs for the shit we get now.

I have put forth an email to the Vancouver Canucks and Shaw concerning PPV games. Lets see what happens. I'm guessing nobody gets back to me as both don't want anybody to know what is going on.

Well looks like Kylos gets part of his wish

Matt Pettinger was sick Thursday so the Canucks were able to call up Jannik Hansen on an emergency basis. Vancouver had previously used up all of its recalls. Both players will take the pre-game skate so if Pettinger is able to play then Hansen is ineligible to play. Expect Hansen to play because with Taylor Pyatt out the Canucks desperately need another top-six forward. They also want Rypien in the lineup because of the physical factor. - TSN

On the bright side,I think that the Nucks Oil matchups have been by far the most entertaining games this season. On that note it'll probably be 1-0 Oil in an OT sleeper Rolling Eyes

Come on guys, bring it!

I hate PPV games, especially when they're so important.

The Canucks seem to be outshooting the Oil by a good margin. The problem is whenever they outshoot their opponent they seem to find a way to lose.

We need a huge period now Mad But I think that almost mercifully the Nucks season is over Mad Crying or Very sad Mad This game typifies the whole season,No scoring,No timely goaltending and no fucking puck luck to speak of,If and when we lose tonight I say it's time to can AV,His system just doesn't work and its fucka boring to watch too Mad I would rather we miss the playoffs losing games 5-4 and 4-3 instead of these snoozefests jmho

Burrows on the PP!!! It only took 8 of them for the Canucks to capitalize.

2-1 for the bad guys. It sounds like Burrows is having a hell of a game.

1 minute left, Henrik gets 2 for hooking. Sounds right, but I thought they'd put the whistles away as they missed a bunch of calls the other way. Oh well, if we can't win it with 8 tries then we don't deserve it.

What a shame. First Buffalo gets the heav-ho and now the Knuckles. I'm celebrating this the way we used to do it: I've got my hookah, hazlenut-flavoured shish and my Me Mom and Morgentaler CD.

Man...they sucked and it didn't even matter.
