Good or bad?

Quite frankly, I don't like this new era bullsiht in where there's a salary cap, no movement clauses & ten year contracts. It's obvious the player's union runs this league.

Sure, the cap prevents teams from "buying" a Stanley Cup, but it also prevents teams from holding onto there home-grown talent. The solution? 10 year contracts ..... Give a 23 year old kid a 6 to 10 year contract; where is the motivation to perform? It's psychology 101, yet the communists running the league are too dumb to realize that.

And fuck you anyway Bryan McCabe!

Mad

the NTC are what fucks everything up. 20% of the league has one. thats crazy!

Oh, I'm mad at him too! Mad

I guess in the end, Cliff did what he could do - it is puzzling nonetheless that all 5 of the NTC players are still w/ the Leafs.

Kubina will certainly be gone this Summer, freeing up more cap space.

Can't help but be discouraged seeing what Hossa was able to bring in .....

The cap was supposed to protect GM's from themselves. Instead, they found new and more creative ways to screw themselves long term.
