Naw, this is already his fifth season with the Kings, not a post-rookie deal. Unless you're talking about teams just getting their young guys under contract before their deal expires and they become RFA...
How come you didn't think they liked him, Sask?

Didn't really hear much about him in LA since the new management took over and he's been mentioned in many trade rumours. I know he hits pretty much everything but didn't seem to have evolved much beyond that.
