part of that has to do with the fact that Smith has been playing better than Turco and Tippett's going with the hot hand.

That is true...and is very comforting knowing we have a good goalie tandem going on...which makes me wonder if either of them will get traded soon. Sad

I think of it like San Jose a couple years ago. Remember everyone saying that Nabby should be traded and Toskala be made the starter?

And look at Dan Ellis' numbers in Nashville, and how he couldn't get a sniff in Dallas. Good show, Dallas. I've always liked your depth. Just don't call up Sauve. Laughing

Apparently the whole island thought it was some kind of joke.

Well, this supports Chris 18's general "who the f*** cares about the Western Conference anyways?" theory.

And the Isles are a fun (and competitive) team to watch most nights, too.
