IMO Quenneville saved his job. Though I still don't like some elements of his coaching, he managed to get a roster riddled with injuries all year to the postseason. He deserves credit for that much.
If the postseason were to start today we'd be facing the Wild in the first round. Much better scenario than the Wings or Sharks. They need to keep pace and not relax, go strong into the postseason.
Hopefully Adam Foote stays the hell out of the way of any more flying pucks. |

Here's something you don't see too often... in the unlikely event the Avs win the division, they'll be forced to start the playoffs on the road. The Pepsi Center is booked for the NCAA Frozen Four Tournament.
If it happens, the playoff format would likely be 2-3-1-1, with game 7 being in Colorado. _________________ It's backwards time. |
