Koci's all guts and no brains. Yes, his job is an enforcer's job but you don't fight a guy 6'9'' when you have a broken nose by locking out your arms and trying to out punch him while leaving your face exposed. Especially when it's Chara, whose father and brother have olympic wrestling backgrounds. Hal Gill is a different matter.  No, no one would have thought any worse of him had he used some Brashear/McSorley strategy and got inside Chara's long wingspan and limited Chara's right hand shots, especially with a broken nose. |
