Very sweet. What's the buzz like outside the arena before the game? Is the AAC in an active part of town?

The buzz is awesome! AAC is just outside downtown Dallas. People were having a great time. A live band played (some group called Miser), and lots of beer was flowing. It's a very active area and a great place to catch a game. The Mavs play there as well.
