Verdun, specifically.

Sure, history isn't on their side, but maybe with renewed interest in the Habs some of that good karma could rub off on the Verdun Fog Devils (ew.. gotta do something about that name).

I'm sure it'll be changed to some singular nickname that anglos don't really get (along the lines of the Drakkar). Like L'Aqueduc de Verdun or something.

But ever since I learned of the Quebec City Kebekwa basketball team, no other sports franchise in the province can hold a candle.

The team will be called Junior de Montreal, or the Montreal Juniors for the anglos.

I'm inquiring about season tickets, and I'll get back to y'all.

They're charging $15 per ticket even for season tickets? Wow. $15 is walk-up here in Saskatoon and I complain. Laughing

How do you get the bums in the seats? Bring in a big name, like Angelo Esposito.

Everyday I'm becoming more convinced putting a team in Verdun is a big mistake.

There should be teams all around Montreal: South Shore, Boisbriand, Vaudreuil, St. Hyacinthe, St-Jean. All those places would be better.

Hell, give Trois-Rivieres and Sherbrooke chances. Can't imagine why they wouldn't get second chances.
