Verdun, specifically.

Sure, history isn't on their side, but maybe with renewed interest in the Habs some of that good karma could rub off on the Verdun Fog Devils (ew.. gotta do something about that name). _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor in order to buy a TV. Luckily, I am one.

I'm sure it'll be changed to some singular nickname that anglos don't really get (along the lines of the Drakkar). Like L'Aqueduc de Verdun or something.
But ever since I learned of the Quebec City Kebekwa basketball team, no other sports franchise in the province can hold a candle. _________________

The team will be called Junior de Montreal, or the Montreal Juniors for the anglos.
I'm inquiring about season tickets, and I'll get back to y'all. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor in order to buy a TV. Luckily, I am one.

Score early by reserving your season tickets now!
Come see the Montreal Junior Hockey Club take on its opponents at the Verdun Auditorium. Attend 34 Regular Season games plus 2 Exhibition games (at 50% of regular season price), plus be guaranteed select seating without waiting in line.
Choose from one of three season ticket categories:
Classic seating ($15 per ticket, + Tax) :
• $525.00, + Tax
• free program
Prestige seating ($25 per ticket, + Tax) :
• $875.00, + Tax
• free parking pass within a three-block radius
(with the purchase of a pair of tickets)
• free program
V.I.P. seating ($45 per ticket, + Tax) :
• $1575.00, + Tax
• free parking pass at the Verdun Auditorium
(with the purchase of a pair of tickets)
• free program
• access to the V.I.P. lounge and snack bar
• one ticket to the annual team banquet |
Should've put the team in Laval. Them's be some pricey tickets. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor in order to buy a TV. Luckily, I am one.

They're charging $15 per ticket even for season tickets? Wow. $15 is walk-up here in Saskatoon and I complain. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. How do you get the bums in the seats? Bring in a big name, like Angelo Esposito.
Everyday I'm becoming more convinced putting a team in Verdun is a big mistake.
There should be teams all around Montreal: South Shore, Boisbriand, Vaudreuil, St. Hyacinthe, St-Jean. All those places would be better.
Hell, give Trois-Rivieres and Sherbrooke chances. Can't imagine why they wouldn't get second chances. _________________ It seems like you need to be a physics professor in order to buy a TV. Luckily, I am one.
