Indeed...if Butchy bets on it it'll be a surefire loss.

The logical, and reasonable thing for Butchy to do is bet on the Habs.

So why the hell is Higgins not in the box for goalie interference? They even went upstairs to see if he should get a goal after plowing over the goalie and knocking the net flying. Only in Montreal! Rolling Eyes

Vesa looks really shakey, especially after that fluker off of Poni's stick. Hate to say it, but maybe Raycroft should be in net tonight.

Right now looks like the two teams are taking pretty even turns being totally dominate. Good move by Maurice dressing Belak, this looks like it is going to be a physical game.

Yes. And more to the point, on a night when the Leads and Nucks win. It's one of the seven signs of the Apocalypse.

Whats with the TO GDT always being in the other teams forum? That because no one else in their right mind would visit the TO forum? At any rate Vesa did look shakey but everything considered he had a game worthy of being the first star. I agree with Higgins should have been called for interference on that play. I thought goalies were to be protected at all costs? Loved the energy of this game, both on the ice and in the stands. Far cry from watching the Leafs play NJ on Friday. Loved Stajans goal and that sick move Higgins made (no not the one were he plowed Vesa).

Might be an extension of Leaf fans not being able to watch their team in Toronto.

That was a terrible game. Habs didn't show up for half of it, and Toronto gets 3 goals they shouldn't have gotten (2 were soft as butter, the other was a behind the net goal off of Dandy's skate).

Montreal continues to play down to Toronto on Saturday night. The real team never shows up.

And, BTW, it is general OTP policy to have the game threads in the home team's forum. We don't need two going at the same time. Hence moving this one here. The next game between these two is in Toronto, so that'll be in the Leafs forum.
