When they went down by 3 goals I turn the channel. I was too distracted by being pissed off that they were losing to do my homework.
Then I heard a noise coming from downstairs that sounded like my father was killing my mother. It turned out he just got very excited and accidentally knocked over the folding chair he was sitting in. (We have no furniture in the living room still.) So I went down stairs and found out they were winning 5-4.
I decided to keep the game off. I didn't want to jinx them. They ended up scoring 6 in a row, including 3 in row by Vanek to win 7-4.
