In the MIDDLE of a fight, he starts trying to pump up the crowd a la the WWF.
Seriously - I'd suspend him. This is much worse than NFL players doing the Ickey shuffle.

Agreed, then he takes another bone head penalty that let the Thrashers right back in the game.

| A loser move for sure, but not suspension worthy IMO. Hopefully he gets some kind of warning and that it goes league-wide because it would suck to see more people doing that type of lame crap but really I can't believe they would suspend him. Unless maybe there a precedent for suspending someone for show-boating? Not like he did a throat-slash or anything. Worst for him he was kicking ass in that fight before he did it and then almost got his clock cleaned, and it probably helped fire up the Thrashers between periods too. Stupid. Unfortunately the crowd seemed to really enjoy it. |
