No doubt the still-not-ratified IIHF-NHL agreement in Russia has something to do with this.
Oh well, even with young American talent on the rise, this has started to lose its luster a bit. Too bad, I can remember the Nagano games being some of the best hockey I've ever seen. Of course it was all broadcasted around 2 in the morning since CBS didn't think anyone would be interested since Team USA got bounced in the first round...
