Wow, didn't realize just how bad they were doing until the Cash trade today.

Eric friggin' Healey is the team's leading scorer after 10 games. Chris Stewart has an assist and no goals in 9 games. TJ Hensick has 4 points and is a -6. Viktor Oreskovich left the team and is apparently going back to school to get a degree in finance. Mike Wall has a stellar GAA of 6.00. And Dale Purinton? Well, he earned himself a 25 game suspension for hitting an Iowa Stars player in the head. I can see why Kyle Cumiskey looks so lost out there for the Avs at present.

| I went to a Monsters game a couple of weeks ago agianst the Quad City Flames. I didn't realize that the Avs had called up the only player worth a shit on the team. The game was 2-2 headed into OT and we left because it was boring as hell. Almost the whole game was spent in the neutral zone with neither team doing much of anything. There was only one freakin fight the whole game. At least the Jacksonville Barracudas would fight though they blew goats! The Q is a beautiful arena though and the tickets were decent for our seats. I thought McLeod is their leading scorer? |
