Thanks to some dude on HFBoards for bringing this to the public's attention:

Miro's current career totals:

GP: 875
G: 322
A: 327
P: 649

Hopefully Snow can swing a short-term trade so that Miroslav can hit the milestone in a Devils' jersey, as he was always meant to.

Wikipedia wrote:
During his tenure with the Buffalo Sabres, a very popular t-shirt among fans of the team featured a stylized silhouette of Satan with "devil horns" on the back, and the words "Jesus Saves, Satan Scores" on the front.

The New Jersey Devils were among the teams trying to sign him as a free agent after he left Buffalo, even jokingly offering him the captainship (the mythical Satan being the "captain of the devils").

Some signs seen at arenas that when he plays include "Hail Satan", "Satan is God" and "Could It Be...Satan?" (a reference to Saturday Night Live's Church Lady sketch.

For obvious reasons, I'm hoping he gets 27 points by late October, rather than April. Confused

Resident pedant. You didn't even say that it was supposed to add up to 666, just that you wanted him to score that many points by late October instead of in April.

You're really reaching, o ignorer of all context. Laughing

Meh, I'm not the one using it to correct someone's math or typo even though their sentence makes perfect sense in the absence of the context you're using to correct them.

All the Islander goals looked very awesome in the highlights, actually.

I have the urge to point out that the interpretation of Papyrus P47's, "Chi Xi Stigma" is debatable. Many translate to 666 (possibly due to the influence of the King James Version, but also corroborated by the NRSV), some translate to 616 (many Catholic Bibles). and some scholars just aren't sure. yeah, I know - who cares Smile

Either/or - Satan is one bad MoFo.

Getting very close... if he goes on a goal-scoring binge he can even hit it perfectly at 333-333-666:

GP: 893
G: 328
A: 332
P: 660

I forgot about that! That fact got some publicity when it was first discovered... you know, it can't be a coincidence, can it? The players seem to be in some random order -- 665 is Greg Smyth, and 668 is Tom Fitzgerald.
