Well shit I don't blame Wang for doing this since the Islanders are actually a good team and NO ONE goes to the fucking games... |

I think this is a great idea -- frankly the Canucks and Sharks, among other West Coast teams -- should consider the same thing in Cantonese.
Asia holds plenty of potential for hockey if you ask me. It may not be in their history, but it's not like basketball or baseball were before they came to the continent either. And there is already plenty of Asian prowess in ice-related sports such as speed-skating. There's a ton of untapped potential if you ask me.
The Canucks/Ducks two-game series in Tokyo was a good start. I would probably give a more serious look to China and Korea. _________________

The Kings had a Japanese goalie.
The Sharks have a Japanimation style logo, and actually had reps in China over the summer if memory serves me correct. _________________ "Oh my God. There she is. Lovely Sally Slater. I should speak to her. But what the hell can I say? Anything that doesn't mention that I masturbate over her memory is probably a good idea."
