Kronwall breaks up the 3-on-2 and puts it out off of the boards, Datsyuk goes blazing up the right side. Ballard nearly catches up, Datsyuk hammers on the brakes and gets Ballard to hammer on the breaks, waits for the screen and buries it high blocker on Bryzgalov. Friggin awesome. Datsyuk has hands, but has a killer wrist shot too. He's been doing that a lot more this year, recognizing that he isn't going to beat everyone in a 1-on-1 battle, especially when they back off a little, and setting up the D for a screen to put wrist shots in the net or setting up a rebound.
He had a chance to put it in an open net, but handed off the puck to Draper for a goal. As Panger said, he recognizes who is on the ice with him and endears himself to his teammates when he does things like that.
