One of the top local hockey personalities in Thunder Bay, Ontario history died over the weekend after a lengthy Illness. Gary Cook, 66, got his start with the Port Arthur North Stars as a Stick boy / Asst. Trainer in 1957. He later held front office positions on the Thunder Bay Twins Allen Cup Champions and three Colonial / United Hockey League titles along with some junior titles.
